Instead of the usual Happy Birthday greeting in person or thru SMS, why not make use of technology and surprise friends, family or loved ones with creative Happy Birthday greetings?

Try out these 4 ways to greet a happy birthday online.

Send an e-Card

An e-card is just like the real thing, only more convenient. You can shop around the internet for the one you like, and currently there are hundreds available online.

Once you have a good one, type in the recipient’s email address and it will show up in their inbox. Then wait for a response from them to show you how much they appreciate it!

Post a Video

A personalized happy birthday video shows them you made an effort to greet them.

You’ll have a variety of ways to do this, and you can be as humorous as you want, or go another route and be creative. You won’t need specialized equipment, and using your smartphone is just fine.

Order a Birthday Cake

If you can’t be there in person then the next best thing is to send a Birthday cake with name online to the celebrant.

A birthday cake shows that you care, and that you’re thinking of them on their special day. It’s a traditional way to greet a special person even when you’re a good distance away from them!

Post on Social Media

It’s pretty customary nowadays to greet a person happy birthday on social media. You can opt to use an image, gif or your homemade video or you can spice it up by making a collage or a presentation, complete with photos and memories of your time together.

The added bonus is that you can catch up with him or her on social media and exchange pleasantries as if you’re right next to each other.
