CarJet has joined forces with OnlineTravel by Destinia to make its official entry into the hotel market. Known until now for its leadership in comparing car hire options across the world, CarJet has taken a bold step in 2025 by announcing a strategic expansion of its services.

“This marks a new chapter for CarJet,” said CarJet’s CEO. “For years, we’ve focused on making car hire cheap and transparent for travellers. Now, we’re applying that same dedication to hotel bookings”

What is CarJet?

Most travellers already know what CarJet is. But for those who aren’t used to hiring cars when travelling, here’s a quick explanation. CarJet is a comparison website that helps users find the best car hire deals. It works like a search engine, scanning the market and connecting you with suppliers at far lower prices.

CarJet compares offers across more than 52 countries worldwide, with a presence in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, and North America. It’s like a travel cheat code for those seeking affordable car hire wherever they go. With access to thousands of suppliers, locations, and vehicle types, it makes booking simple.

What started as a solution focused on Europe has now expanded globally. It simplifies life for modern travellers by bringing everything together in one place, in the language of your choice. The site is available in more than thirteen languages, allowing you to view every step of the booking process—along with the terms and conditions of each offer—with complete clarity.

How does CarJet work?

CarJet’s mission is to make hiring a car easy, transparent, and cheap. The process is straightforward: enter your travel dates, select your pick-up location, and specify a few basics such as whether the car will be returned to the same location and the age of the driver (typically between 26–69).

Once you click search, results are displayed from cheapest to most expensive. You can refine the list using filters for vehicle size, mileage, excess options, payment methods, and more. To book a hotel, select your destination, travel dates, and number of rooms and guests. Once you click search, you’ll see all available options. You can sort by popularity, review score, price, or proximity. You can see the available hotels on a map and can filter by room type, features (such as Wi-Fi, spa, parking), user ratings (from 1 to 5 stars), price range, and location within the city.

Click on any hotel to view full details, including rates, reviews, and room features. You’ll be able to select between standard, premium, or other room types, read the terms and conditions, and proceed to booking by entering your payment information.

CarJet also offers the ability to combine bookings, including hotel + flight or hotel + train options, to further streamline your travel plans.
