You’ve tried everything to rank on Google but nothing seems to be working. Just why is your website not showing up on Google? Click here to know why.

Most website owners know why it pays to rank on Google. Reports show that 75% of people don’t scroll past the first page of the first results. However, it’s easier said than done to make your site stand out and take the top spots.

There is a lot of competition on Google search, which means you’ll need to do some work if you want a chance of ranking. Below are four possible reasons that your website not showing up on Google.

1. Lack of Indexing

Google doesn’t automatically know about all the pages on your site. It uses spiders to travel your website and find all your pages. Unfortunately, Google doesn’t always see them all.

You’ll find that Google isn’t indexing your site when it has problems reaching all your pages. Those pages will have no rankings and will get no search engine traffic. If you want to help Google index every page, submit a sitemap to Google Search Console to help the process.

2. Minimal Topical Authority

It’s hard for Google to consider your site an authority on a subject when you don’t have much content. There’s more than you can talk about subjects than you can talk about in a single blog post. Why would Google rank your site when other websites offer more content covering every aspect of a topic?

By adding more content to your website, you add more topical authority. Once you have these posts, interlink them to each other using related keywords to help Google learn what your website is about. The more you appear as an authority on a topic, the better chance you have of ranking.

3. Lack of Page Authority

Even the best on-site SEO isn’t enough to rank in all cases. Google search results are very competitive in some categories. You’ll need some help from other websites if you want to compete.

That means getting backlinks for your site. Google considers backlinks like votes for your site. If you get enough votes from other authoritative sources, it raises your site’s authority.

Many websites start this process by guest posting. Offer informative content to related websites in your industry and ask for a link back to your site for the content.

4. Poor Performance

Page speed has been a hot top in the search optimization world. With the Core Web Vitals update, Google emphasizes user experience as one of the Google ranking factors.

That’s caused many SEO professionals to shift gears and focus on website performance when optimizing for SEO. You’ll need a fast website that looks great on every device. If you don’t offer a great experience to your users, Google has the choice to devalue your site and rank your competitors instead of you.

Website Not Showing Up on Google? Now You Know Why

You may find a few easy keywords to rank for on Google, but high-traffic keywords are hard to get right. Unfortunately, it isn’t always easy to know why your website not showing up on Google.
