Be careful to use the right amount of garlic powder to your dishes, you need only 1/4th of a teaspoon of the powder in place of one garlic clove.

Since garlic powder is packed with nutrients, it is a powerful immunity booster. Add it to your diet to keep yourself safe from harmful viruses, fungi, and bacteria, and infections. It is also helpful in keeping serious illness such as diabetics, cancer, and cardiovascular problems at bay.

Reduces cancer risk

Garlic powder helps the body combat inflammation and prevents the mutation of cells, as well as lowers oxidative stress. The cell mutations that can cause cancer are greatly reduced owing to the properties of garlic powder.

Keeping sugar levels low and regulating glucose in the body is vital to prevent diabetes. Garlic powder helps with this and is also prescribed as a way to heal complications from diabetes such as heart disease and catching infections.

Age-related problems such as dementia and Alzheimer’s can be avoided with regular inclusion of garlic in your diet. Garlic powder reduces the occurrence of oxidative damage to cells. This helps prevent dementia and other cognitive issues related to age.
