The Early Life of Amit
Amit grew up in the small town of Punjab and learned perseverance and hard work. With the idea that education would empower him later on, he went through an academic journey and received several degrees, including a Master of Science, a Post-Graduate diploma in Computer Applications, and a Bachelor of Arts. Later on, Kakkar pursued additional credits as a database administrator and a Master’s in IT.
After this, Amit began his career working for Tata Infotech, and then the Government Medical College & Hospital. The pivotal moment came in 2004, when Kakkar thought about becoming an education consultant and helped students gain access to their dream universities and colleges outside of India. Under his guidance, CONSULTANTS LTD won the Best Consultants Award eight times in ten years.
Through all these things, he didn’t forget about making a social impact and worked with charities. He has an NGO that fights cybercrime and human trafficking, provides free education to those in need, and organizes medical camps to ward off new diseases.
