As an online retailer of collectibles, toys, pins, and vinyl figures, they have a major focus on Funko and FiGPiN. They understand the importance of having clear communication with their customers since a majority of the collectibles industry involves pre-orders, production delays, and damaged shipments. “It can be hard to find the middle ground between a ‘mom & pop’ shop and a major retailer. There tends to be this stigma that a decline in customer service is evident with an increase in sales, and we are here to mend that middle ground,” says Krakens Collection.

Krakens Collection is dedicated to keeping their customers’ needs a priority. Even if they are processing 20,000 units in a week, they are still committed to responding to comments on their social media platforms. This allows them to keep a tight-knit relationship with both their clients and the industry. By simply listening to the needs of the community, your customers will tell you what they want through their buying habits or outright through their Instagram posts. People are creatures of habit. This can make it hard to convince them to switch over from their regular retailer. But by keeping a close eye on what they want, you can offer something your competitors may not have.

There are a ton of huge corporations that offer many of the same products, but they only know which items move off the shelves quickly. Krakens Collection wants to solidify themselves as a household destination for toys and collectibles. They are currently working with an array of exclusive products and plan to work with some larger companies soon.
