Dubrovnik Airport Transfers: From the Runway to Wherever You’re Headed

Not everyone landing at Dubrovnik Airport is staying in Dubrovnik. Some are heading to Cavtat. Others to Montenegro, or up the coast toward Split. Some go inland, to Mostar or Medjugorje. A few continue all the way to Zagreb or even across the border into Italy. That’s why Dubrovnik airport transfers aren’t just a convenience — they’re the thread that ties it all together.

The airport itself is tucked into the wide, quiet landscape of Konavle. Open to the hills, close to the sea, but far enough from the city to offer space. It’s the kind of place where your trip still feels like it’s in neutral — until someone meets you at Arrivals and the journey starts rolling.

And from that moment, it’s simple.

Whether you’re headed north, south, inland or along the coast, the transfer takes you there directly. No navigating bus timetables, no figuring out where to buy tickets, and no surprise costs. Just a clean vehicle, a local driver, and a direct ride to where you need to be.

From the airport to Dubrovnik Old Town is a short drive — often under 30 minutes. But transfers also head much further. Here are just a few destinations commonly reached by private Dubrovnik airport transfers:

  • Cavtat
  • Sun Gardens Dubrovnik (Orašac)
  • Dubrovnik ACI Marina
  • Pelješac peninsula
  • Split
  • Mostar, Međugorje
  • Budva, Kotor, Tivat (Montenegro)
  • Ferries to Elaphiti or Mljet

No matter the destination, the approach is the same: direct, private, and reliable. If you’re traveling as a couple, a car transfer will do. Larger groups can book a minivan, minibus, or even a coach. Child seats, multiple stops, and custom routes are all possible — as long as they’re arranged in advance.

You won’t be sharing the ride, and you won’t be waiting for it

You’ll be met, helped with your luggage, and driven straight to your hotel, apartment, ferry port, or wherever you’re staying. What makes these transfers work isn’t luxury — it’s consistency. The vehicles are new, smoke-free, and kept clean. The drivers know the roads and the region. And if your flight is delayed or plans change, someone is on the other end ready to adjust.

In the end, Dubrovnik airport transfers are about more than getting from point A to point B. They’re about keeping the in-between parts easy — so the rest of the trip can be what it’s meant to be.
