Add style and class to your outfit with these limited edition Watch Cufflinks.

When you’re obsessed with vintage watches, you start to make our own. The founders of Creamy Patina are two brothers, one is a Doctor and the other a Biochemist, but both share an obsession with watches.

Creamy Patina has successfully launched a set of iconic watch cufflinks in its brand new “The Wilsdorf Collection.” The series is inspired by four of the most legendary watches ever made. These one-of-a-kind watch cufflinks are fully functioning with a real miniature Seiko mechanism and are intricately designed to recreate every iconic detail from the horological masterpieces of the past. They are essentially miniature versions of these historical watches that can be worn on the cuff to add timeless class and style to the outfit.

The Wilsdorf Collection pays homage to four of the legendary Rolex watches of the past. The CUFFMARINER is inspired by the Rolex Submariner, which was popular among divers (and James Bond), while the CUFFGAUSS is inspired by the Rolex Milgauss, also popularly known as the anti-magnetic watch. The CUFFTONA gets its inspiration from the Rolex Daytona, made for racers (and popularised by Paul Newman), and finally, the CUFFANY takes its inspiration from the Rolex Oyster Perpetual and Tiffany & Co.

The brand, Creamy Patina, is the brainchild of two brothers, passionate about vintage watches and their history. One of the brothers, Dr. Imran Haq, a Facial Plastic Surgeon, often used his microsurgical skills to repair vintage watches as a hobby. These historic watches however were always out of their budget, so when the idea about a miniature vintage cufflink watch was conceived, they knew they had to bring it to reality.

The cufflinks from The Wilsdorf Collection are fully functioning watches with real movements enclosed in a miniature casing. These tiny watches boast a Quartz Japanese Seiko PC21 mechanism, bringing a high degree of accuracy. They are made out of 304 stainless steel, which is more corrosion resistant than traditional steel, and feature mineral glass crystal on the front, providing the clearest visibility with excellent scratch and shatter resistance. The batteries on these watches are easily replaceable, also ensuring a long period of ownership.

Vintage watches are all about intricate details; the same applies to the cufflinks in The Wilsdorf Collection. All the four cufflink watches in the series recreate the iconic details of the legendary watches from the past. As a case in point, the CUFFMARINER brings in the luminescent hour markers and a tri-star hour hand from the original Submariner launched back in 1953. The CUFFGAUSS comes with the iconic green tint of the modern Milgauss and the “Lightening Bolt” second hand from the Milgaus Ref. 6541. On the other hand, the CUFFTONA cufflink pays homage to the Paul Newman Daytona Ref. 6263, featuring two chronograph pushers and a bezel tachymeter. Finally, the CUFFANY takes its inspiration from the “Tiffany Blue” Oyster Perpetual, bringing in the dial of the contemporary Oyster with bordered hour markers and crisp dial markings.

The Wilsdorf Collection is akin to the concept of pocket watches in modern times. It brings back timeless style and vintage details in a form factor that’s classy and befitting in the contemporary world.

Creamy Patina’s The Wilsdorf Collection was officially launched on Kickstarter on August 2, at a Kickstarter Special price of just £72 (£89). It will only be available till September 2 and deliveries start right after the campaign.
