The rainy season has come, days will be colder and we will be spending them inside of our own home, so it is up to us to keep ourselves entertained and warm for the season. Here are some ways to enjoy rainy days in your cozy new place at The Serra Residences.

Make a Warm Drink

Your body temperature will be lower during the season because it will be colder, but you can regulate it with a warm drink. There are many to choose from like hot cocoa, milk, coffee and tea. Enjoy a warm beverage while watching a movie or reading a book. It could also be food like porridge, soup and stew.

Get Comfortable

Bring out your comforters and sweaters and layer with jackets, sweatshirts or longsleeve clothing to keep your body temperature up. Place them on your couch so you can watch TV under the covers or on your bed while you read. Pair this with a warm beverage and you get yourself entertainment and a source of heat for the day.

Start binge watching a series or movie you have been meaning to watch or start a book. Turn up the thermostat at home too so that it’s warm and toasty.

Move Around

Don’t be a couch potato. Move around from time to time and stretch or walk around your home to keep warm, you can also do a home workout with simple push-ups, situps and pull-ups if you have a sturdy pull-up bar at home.

Other Heating Methods

It is practical you choose clothes that are thick so that the coldness does not easily enter your body. You could invest in a heat pack or use a warm water bottle and put it on a specific part of your body that you want to heat up and keep warm.
