Unplugging is the term used for breaks or rest periods without using your smartphone or computer. If after five minutes of disconnecting you feel bored, try these five things.

Shop For Your Next Perfume

Shopping for a good Arabic perfume can be rewarding, with the emergence of new players creating unique scents. Perfumes such as Lattafa and Marabika can be your next fragrance and benefit you in many ways, including greater confidence and self-esteem, and better well-being, just to name a few.

Read a Book

Reading a book is more or less the same as reading something off the internet. This activity isn’t harmful to the eyes as long as you’re in a comfortable position and there’s plenty of light. Reading expands the mind and lets you learn a new idea, concept, or things you can share with your friends.

Go Outside and Walk

Walking and appreciating nature is one of the best ways to relax or take a break. Walking is good for your physical health as you get to exercise your leg muscles and heart, while the fresh air should do wonders for your lungs. Anything between 10-30 minutes of daily walking will counteract the effects of sitting for too long.

Learn Something New

It’s never too late to learn a new skill, or take up a new hobby. Find something that interests you and understand the costs involved before making a decision. You can utilize technology, such as websites or YouTube videos to learn more about a hobby or a new skill you can use in daily life.

Let Your Mind Wander

Contrary to popular belief, being bored is good because it forces you to think or muse about things you won’t normally encounter or think about. Let your mind lead you and your imagination will soar.
