Lag and server disconnections plague online gamers on a regular basis, but this doesn’t usually happen especially if you’re prepared for it. To truly enjoy a game online and experience seamless play, here are 3 tips you can follow.

Choose Wired Internet or Home WiFi

Wired internet is one, if not the most stable way to play online games. However, this only applies to game consoles such as the Playstation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch, and computers. For smartphone devices and tablets, the next best thing is to connect via home wifi.

Going on a mobile network or mobile data is not recommended and should only be used if you’re outdoors. If you want maximum mega888 enjoyment and be able to cash out your casino winnings then you should definitely opt for any of the two internet solutions.

Play Near the Router or Upgrade

You may have an adequate internet connection and speed, but without a good router you’ll experience a bottleneck. If you’re fond of playing online games, constantly watch streaming services and download large files, then upgrading to a newer router is a must.

Ideally, your wifi signal when playing casino and online games should be at full strength. If you only see one bar as your connection signal then it’s recommended that you move closer to the router.

Close All Background Apps

Finally, your other open apps and programs could be leeching off the internet and causing you to frequently disconnect or experience lag. This is an easy fix since it doesn’t require any additional tool or equipment- it’s just good practice.

Closing background apps is just a matter of tapping the icon at the bottom part of your smartphone and choosing ‘clear all’ before you start the game. For computers you can call up the task manager and close unwanted programs.
