As crucial early education is to create a formative foundation in strengthening a child’s learning capabilities, integrating the use of technology in their learning prompt means preparing them towards honing their technological skills further at an early age.

But as exposing them to technology is can be tedious and requires additional instructions before the students can access the learning media files, early education teachers are thinking of new simple ways to better engage the students with technology that is present within the school premise.

And to better engage their students with technology, the following technological criteria were considered:

Availability

As learning requires the immediate availability of the tools needed to carry out the desired learning outcome, teachers need to have the kind of technology that is available and as much as possible just one search away.

Compatibility

Not all students have the privilege to have a high-end gadget to access the digital learning materials online, teachers need to consider the technology that is compatible with any devices available today, whether it is cheap or not.

Easy display in classroom

Since today’s technology enthusiasts are focusing on making today’s technology to be visually pleasing to the person or in this case to the child who will be utilizing the use of it, teachers are also considering using the type of technology that will capture their students’ attention and beautify their classroom design.

And with these criteria, early education teachers found the use of QR codes as the best type of technology to store their learning materials.

What is a QR code?

A Quick Response code or commonly named a QR code, is a two-dimensional type of barcode that converts different kinds of data into machine-readable modules. The modules then form a series of patterns and three large squares that make up the overall design of the QR code.

In today’s current QR code technology innovation, anyone can create their QR codes through the use of a QR code generator with logo online and make material embedding and sharing easier and accessible.

How are QR codes used in Early Education?

As the world is now tapping the use of technology to make things easier, and by applying technology in the early education sector, the early education teachers include the use of QR codes into their teaching prompt in three notable means.

Scan-to-learn videos

Learning the ABCs is can be learned through watching educational videos online. But as letting the students are not yet into writing or typing, sharing the link of an educational video becomes not feasible for teachers. Because of that, they are incorporating the use of a video QR code to store educational videos where the students can scan the code and watch the videos on how to count, spell their ABCs, and more.

Through this, smart early education teachers are grabbing the opportunity to better let their students have an uninterrupted learning experience with videos in a scan and view manner.

Store Interactive games

The play represents a crucial role in understanding how a certain concept works simply. And with students in early education needing simple means to fully learn and absorb the concepts they need to learn, early education teachers are also integrating the use of play to keep them attentive in class.

Because of that, some of them are taking much time and effort to create interactive software where the students can better understand the concepts being taught while having fun exploring with them. To make their interactive games available anytime, the teachers can store the interactive games into a QR code and let the learners scan the QR code to instantly play the game on their gadgets, whether a smartphone or a tablet.

Scan-to-view visual materials

Preschoolers love to look at things that are bright and visually attractive. As it makes their focus and attention longer, smart early education teachers are utilizing the use of a QR code generator with logo online to create customized QR codes that match their information wall’s color.

Through this, their students will get curious about why there are QR codes placed in their information wall and scan them to know what’s behind the code. Thus, making their students learn new ideas in a new way and make learning fun and exciting.

Conclusion:

The future of the computer-literate world is molded and pursued by people, who learn how technology works, training the children at an early age means that the possibility to improve our current technology utilization increases.

And for them to achieve that goal, applying the use of technology like QR codes becomes a better means for learners to better understand how technology works and bring their curiosity towards productive learning.
