As a top global auto manufacturer, we at GAC Group have always been inspired by our pledge to constantly innovate, enhance quality and above all, sustainability. The movement of the world is not static—it evolves. In Europe, many customers are beginning to adopt greener modes of mobility, which represents a meaningful change toward a more sustainable future. We are delighted to join this movement with our cutting-edge GAC electric cars on the continent. For us, the future of driving is electric, and we are proud to be providing European customers with electric cars that will not only be fun to drive but will also be good for the environment.

Our Strategic Entry into the European Market

Our journey into Europe is a carefully planned and significant step in our global strategy. We realise that before you can take the necessary steps into a new market, you have to recognise the specifics of that market and its consumers’ unique wants and needs. Thus, to address the European consumption demand for more eco-friendly transportation, we launched several BEV models specific for European drivers: The all-new AION V and AION Y.

Furthermore, in order to give consumers a friendly and easy experience, we are partnering with Jameel Motors, a reliable distributor, to establish our brand in Poland. In addition, it is part of our brand’s expanding presence in Europe because we aim to offer our green vehicles to a wider market.

Innovative and Sustainable Electric Vehicle Technology

The battery is the heart of the electric cars. We believe that the key to widespread EV adoption lies in overcoming the current limitations of battery technology. That’s why we have established GAC R&D Center, leading to breakthroughs like our graphene-based fast-charging battery and more safer Magazine battery. This fast charging technology dramatically reduces charging times—offering a 0-80% charge in just 8 minutes—and significantly extends battery lifespan.

But our innovation doesn’t stop there. We are pushing the boundaries with our proprietary quark drive technology for enhanced performance and efficiency. All our vehicles are equipped with European standard EV chargers for maximum convenience. Looking ahead, we are developing next-generation solid-state battery packs and the ultra-fast charger, which will set new industry benchmarks. These advancements are designed to make owning an EV more practical and enjoyable than ever before.

Tailoring Products for European Consumers

We recognise that European consumers have discerning tastes and high expectations. To accommodate and outdistance them, we established our European headquarters in the Netherlands and design centre in Milan, Italy, in 2022. These actions have enabled our teams to embrace European culture and design trends, and for our vehicles to adopt a European sensibility and accordance with regional styles and lifestyles.

This design approach can be seen in models like the AION V, a GAC SUV that is adaptable to modern family life, and the AION Y, a vehicle that is compact, modern, and appropriate for an urban environment. We are also continuing to focus on the ongoing build-out of our operational infrastructure. A European transit warehouse is scheduled for completion in this year, 2025, which will dramatically improve the efficiency of our parts supply and after-sales service, guaranteeing a reliable ownership experience for every GAC driver.

Our Commitment to Sustainability and Green Mobility

Our vision extends beyond simply selling cars. We are deeply committed to supporting Europe’s ambitious environmental goals. We see that electric cars are tools to help achieve the EU climate target of carbon neutrality. As Europe moves towards its 2035 ban on new internal combustion engine vehicles, we are proud to offer a range of environmentally friendly cars that provide a compelling alternative.

Our commitment is long-term. By 2028, we plan to have a robust service network and a localised supply chain infrastructure in place across Europe, ensuring our growth is both sustainable and beneficial to the local economies we operate in.

Conclusion

The journey towards a fully electric future is an exciting one, and we at GAC are proud to be in the driver’s seat. With our cutting-edge technology, customer-focused approach, and unwavering commitment to sustainability, we are confident that GAC electric cars will play a vital role in shaping Europe’s green mobility landscape. We are not just entering a market; we are joining a community dedicated to creating a better, cleaner world for future generations. We invite you to watch this space as we prepare to launch our innovative electric vehicles and begin this exciting new chapter in Europe.
