Buy Apple iPhone X in 2021 – A Phone Notch (Not) to Miss

We had the pleasure of using a refurbished iPhone X as the main device for a couple of months and we can tell you is that the iPhone X in our opinion has achieved somewhat of a legendary status when it comes down to refurbished Apple phones. It performs exceptionally well and feels premium in the hands. if you are using a device that’s much older than the iPhone X like an iPhone 6, Galaxy S4 or an LG G3 then going to a device like an iPhone 10 can substantially change the way you view your phone. Let’s get right into it and discuss why you should buy a refurbished iPhone X in 2021.

Price in Australia

Apple does not sell the iPhone X new anymore. If you want it, you would have to buy refurbished Apple iPhone X in Australia from a reputable retailer. The price of a refurbished iPhone X starts at $569, at this price it offers insane value.

A refurbished iPhone X in 2021 is a phone not to miss considering the features it has and value for money it offers.

Starting off with the front, which we think is one of its best assets. It has a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display with a resolution of 1125 x 2436 and 458 pixels per inch. Apple went with a notch display with the iPhone X, which houses the Face ID feature. The display is HDR certified and brightness goes all the way up to 625 nits, the display is a treat for people who consume a lot of media on their phones.

In our opinion, it’s one of the best Apple displays and you can tell how much effort was put in to.

It’s plenty bright and you can easily use it in bright daylight even on those sunny days. Let’s talk about the colours for a bit, it’s one of the best displays you can get on a phone, and the colours are accurate, vibrant and punchy.

Does it feel premium?

The iPhone X has an all-glass design with an aluminium frame in between, it feels incredibly premium in the hands and we are in love with this device and how it feels in the hands. On the bottom of the device, it has a lightning port. And it weighs about 174 grams and also has an IP certification which makes it water and dust resistant, keeping it safe from those accidental splashes. Do keep in mind, Apple advises against intentionally submerging your device into water and it may void the warranty.

You’ll find a dual-camera setup on the back of the device, it has a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. It can shoot in 4k resolution at 60 frames per second which we also think is insanely cool. The front camera is a 7-megapixel sensor and we think the front camera is technically okay for everything.

The images turn out great with an insane amount of details even in low light situations. In our testing, both the wide-angle and the telephoto lenses were capable of taking great shots with incredible dynamic range.

Face ID

Gone are the days of unlocking your phone with fingerprints, now you can unlock your phone with your face. The notch houses the Face ID scanner and can unlock your phone by recognizing and scanning your face. In our extensive testing and usage, we found it to be accurate and unlocking your phone is fast and secure.

You’d need to register your face according to Apple’s instructions for best results.

Software Experience And Performance

In terms of the software experience, it’s still getting software support and updates from Apple. It is future proof as Apple is still supporting it through software updates, it can be updated to the latest iOS 14 and has the latest iOS features. It is powered by Apple’s A11 Bionic Chipset so, you can expect it to be fast and snappy.

The performance on the device is exceptional, it handled everything from daily activities to gaming with ease and performs marginally better than the previous A10 processor. Apple has done an excellent job with the software and hardware optimization.

It has a 2716 mAh battery inside and supports fast-charging up to 15W. Apple advertises that it can get up to 50% of battery in 30 mins and in our testing that seemed to be the case. The battery can last you an entire day of use if you’re careful with it, we recommend turning on the low power mode on when the battery is low and it does wonders. The iPhone X supports Qi wireless charging which is great and any Qi-certified wireless charger will work, you just need to place the phone on the charger and it’ll take care of the rest.

Wrapping Up

The Apple iPhone X is one of the best phones to come out in 2017 and still to this one of the best iPhones you can buy today. Just be sure to buy it from a reputable retailer. I hope this guide/review was helpful and make your decision a bit easier.
