Annie Mai Thai Talks About Fashion For Petite Women And Motherhood

Many petite women have the same struggle: finding clothing to fit their unique body style. They are often left with the choice of wearing ill-fitting clothes or constantly paying for costly alterations. As a woman under 5’ tall, Annie Mai Thai knows these struggles intimately. So, she made it her mission to help petite women find clothing with the right fit.

For Annie, fashion started as a weekend hobby to de-stress from the grind of her real estate career. But in 2015, she left her miserable 7 figure career to pursue fashion full-time. Annie operates her blog, Stylish Petite, where she gives women advice on fashion for petite body styles and motherhood. Annie also operates an online baby/kid’s boutique, Meadow Ivy, named after her second baby girl.

Leaving her real estate career to go all-in on Stylish Petite was a huge challenge for Annie. But it was a step that was necessary to take. Fear is something that will only hold you back, but Annie has never been afraid of failing. Consistency is key when starting anything new, so even if it seems like you are failing, just stay consistent and you can pull through. “The definition of success for me has changed drastically over the years. Now, success is having a healthy family and doing what I love each day. They say if you love what you do, you won’t work a day in your life,” says Annie Mai Thai.

After being married for 19 years, Annie went through a brutal divorce. But she has pulled through and she is thriving. Now, she has a wonderful fiance, two beautiful daughters, and two successful businesses. “I try to just be myself and as authentic as possible. It’s so tough now that the market is so saturated with influencers. I’m lucky in the regard that I’ve been doing this since 2010, so most of my readers are long time and very loyal followers,” says Annie Mai Thai.

Annie would love to start a non-profit business for women dealing with narcissistic abuse, divorce, and infidelity. She would love to give them the support they need to get back on their feet. She is also looking to scale Meadow Ivy into another clothing line or include Mommy and Me clothing.
