Ask for Reviews

Ask for reviews. It is sometimes just that simple. Make it an automated part of your sales process. Why not have it as part of the checking out page? You could have a screen come up that invites your customers to leave a review before they go. Ad a link to the screen and you’re all set!

Create a Process for Asking for Reviews

If you are familiar with any YouTubers, then this will be familiar. All of the big content creators make sure to ask their viewers to ‘like and subscribe’. You aren’t wanting people to like and subscribe, as such, but the principle is the same.

What you need to do is create a process asking for reviews. Make sure it is an integral part of your overall process. Put it in your emailing lists. Put it in the sales process, as dictated above, and so on.

Automate the Ask

While you can sometimes ask for reviews in the flesh (so to speak), it can get complicated very quickly. That tends to work best when you have a small business.

If you have a lot of people as customers, it will get out of hand very quickly. If you aren’t sure how to automate the process, going to a site like Trust Analytica will help. They can show you the best way to get reviews.

When Making the Ask, Target Satisfied Customers

This should go without saying, but always target satisfied customers. If you know a customer has had a bad experience, then asking them to leave a review won’t go well. They would probably leave a bad review. Also, you asking them to leave a review on top of everything else might push them into leaving one!

Personalize the Ask

Try and make things personal. People like feeling that they are important to a company. You can exploit that easily. This can be difficult if you have a lot of customers, but it is definitely worth it. You will get good reviews from people.

Explain Why Reviews Are Important

People might not truly understand the impact that a review can have. Try and explain to them that you depend on reviews. They will likely understand when you do that

Make Writing a Review as Simple as Possible

People like to keep things simple. So, make things simple by reducing the amount of work they have to do. Put the review tab right in front of them at the correct moment, and wait.

Explain How Simple it is to Write a Review

People can sometimes think review writing is hard. Your job is to tell them the truth about the whole process! Let them know that it is easy, and only takes a few minutes at most.

Write Reviews/Testimonials for Customers

Why not turn the tables on your customers? Many sites allow people to leave reviews for each other. Why not try and leave good reviews for customers, and see if they leave good reviews for you?

Engage With Your Existing Reviews

Lastly, be sure not to leave people hanging. People love to see that people are paying attention to what they have to say. This can encourage them to leave positive reviews for your services.
