I have seen my grandma cleaning the entire house with some natural substance. Either, she might have used what is available in the kitchen. Today, we can buy different cleansing products for varied cleaning purposes. Some cleaning agents are of multi-purpose uses, and other is not. Yet, they cost us much when we have to buy various home cleaning products and accessories. I have mentioned 10 DIY home cleaning products that work better than any cleaning products to make an effortless house cleaning routine.

1. Baking Soda

Baking soda is a cheap food ingredient in our kitchen. Apart from baking foods, it is also a natural cleansing agent. Sprinkle some baking soda powder on any grease substance on your gas stove, kitchen tabletop, and metal utensils. Now, dip a cotton cloth and slowly wipe the greasy stuff. They will come out along the cloth and look at your stove or utensils will look shiny.

2. Lemon

An old lemon or a new one acts as a bleaching agent for house cleaning. If you wish to remove food stains and foul odor, scrubbing a half-cut piece of lemon will clean them better than a bleaching powder. Use this hack to remove food stains from a microwave oven, kitchen tops, stoves, and vessels to cook oily recipes.

3. Vinegar

Vinegar is a cheap cleaning agent to remove specks of dirt on the floor. To get better results:

  1. Use hot water to clean the floor.
  2. Mix the necessary amount of vinegar with hot water and stir them well.

4. Salt

Slat is a cheap cooking ingredient always available in your home kitchen. You can use them remove tea, coffee, and wine stains quickly and easily. Sprinkle some power or table salt on the leftover stain on your tea table, dining table, stove, or kitchen tops. Now, sprinkle some water or water added with vinegar and wait until they absorb the stain. It would help if you started to wipe them when the salt changed its color. 5. Potato

For a brighter result, wash your cloth with a washing soda. You can remove sticky stains by wiping them with a sponge dipped in white vinegar.

7. Alcohol

Vodka in your minibar can be used as a cleaning agent. Use this hack to clean your home windows to look crystal clear. Take a spray bottle and pour vodka in the half part. Now, fill the spray bottle with sufficient water. Shake well before spraying. Now, genteelly wipe the window glass with a cotton cloth or a sponge. All specks of dust will come out, and your window glass will look crystal clear. This hack will help to–+- clean your unused wine glasses kept in minibar and showcases in your home.

8. Olive Oil

You may use olive oil for cooking or skincare. It is a great cleaning agent to clear dust and stains from home and kitchen appliances. Pour sufficient olive oil into hot water and stir them well. Now use a spray bottle and spray them on appliances. It works better on any appliances made of steel. Now wipe or buff in a circular motion with a sponge or cotton cloth. 9. Baking Soda and Vinegar

Making a solution by mixing baking soda and vinegar is best to clean your dishwasher. Pour sufficient solution of this mix into your dishwasher. Now, could you put it on and wait for 10-minutes? The dirt and stain will come out quickly along with the solution. It is advisable to clean with lime water again to keep your dishwasher from rancid odors. It is advisable to do this hack daily or weekly to avoid bad smells and cleaner dishwashers. You will get better results when the water is too hot for cleaning.

10. Lemon and Salt

Your vegetable cutting board will have some stains and dirt. The best way to remove them is by using this simple hack. Sprinkle a sufficient quantity of powered salt on the vegetable cutting board. Now, wait for 5-minutes before you scrub with half piece of lemon. You will see all stains and dirt coming out. Now, wash with hot water to look bright and clear. It works on wooden and plastic vegetable cutting boards in your home kitchen.
