Caring for Your Pop Up Stand & Graphic Panels

Especially at the moment, with the costs rising, we understand why businesses would want to make the most of the exhibition stands they already have. Whilst Pop Up Stands are made for longevity, it’s important to make sure they are looked after too.

If the business information is to stay the same for a while and you know that the printed graphic panels are relevant for future events, what can you do to make them last as long as possible?

First and foremost the Pop Up Stand frame and panels should always be stored and transported in the supplied carry case. The carry case is made of a hardened plastic which prevents any damage caused from bumps and scrapes.

When rolling the Pop Up Display Stand panels, they should be positioned in the case 1 panel at a time and not rolled all together. Be mindful not to roll the panels too tight as this can cause permanent curling of the panel, making it harder to assemble the exhibition display stand. As the panels are rolled in the case, we also suggest storing the panels at room temperature to avoid curling at the base of the panel during assembly.

If you’ve unboxed the panels and can see any black marks or smudges on the panels, this isn’t anything to worry about and can be caused by the magnets. As the Pop Up Stand Panels have been laminated, the marks can be easily cleaned off which warm water and a cloth.

It’s possible for the magnetic bars to lose magnetism, but these are an integral part of the assembly and keep the printed pop up panels in place. When separating the magnetic bars, don’t rub the magnet across the face of the bar. You need to pull them apart and not drag.

Top Tip

From time to time you might find that the graphic panels aren’t lining up, but there is a quick fix for this. The main issues start from the top of the panel and making sure they are attached correctly from the get go.

The hooks at the top of the panel allow the printed Pop Up Stand panels to be securely hooked into place. To check they have been attached properly, the printed panels should all sit inline with the top of the pop up stand frame. Using minimal force, pull the panel down to keep the material taut and encourage the panels to all sit at the same height.
