4 Ways to Cool Off Indoors in the Summer

4 Ways to Cool Off Indoors in the Summer

Summer is quickly approaching, and short of amping up the electricity and cranking your air conditioner to the max, you can save up on energy costs and try these four easy tips instead.

Visit Your Condo’s Indoor Swimming Pool

It’s possible to swim in a pool if you live in a condo like the Meyer Blue. Any condo building with an indoor pool can be used to cool down during the hot summer season. You can easily spend an afternoon this way, and it’s a cheap activity as well. Make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen and enjoy with a cold beverage or two. Small families can let their kids spend their energy and exercise at the same time.

Take a Cold Shower

Nearly all summer activities involve water since it does an excellent job of cooling us down. You can take a quick break during the day with a cooling shower giving you a few hours’ worth of comfort. As an added bonus, you get cleaner and practice good hygiene. Time it just right and you’ll come out of the bathroom refreshed and energized.

Hydrate With Your Favorite Beverage

Water is still the best way to hydrate and replenish your body fluids on a hot summer day, but there’s no hard rule saying you can’t enjoy your favorite drink. Store several water bottles in the fridge and make it a point to drink every hour or so. Or, enjoy cold coffee or tea with friends or family members while taking a break.

Take a Nap

While sleeping, you move as little as possible so you won’t sweat or experience too much discomfort. Set a fan or the AC to a comfortable degree, then rest and recharge until the sun goes down.
